Make the boundary before opening the interface
Responsible gaming is not a badge supplied by a product. It is a set of practical limits, honest self-observation and a willingness to stop. This page offers general information only. It provides no game, account or payment service and does not collect a self-check result.
Time boundaries
Choose a start and end time in advance. Use a device timer that is separate from the game interface and include a break long enough to reset attention. A fast round or live presentation can make time harder to notice. If an intended short session regularly runs longer, shorten access or pause completely rather than relying on willpower inside the screen.
Spending boundaries
Set a spending boundary away from the interface and only after essential expenses, savings and debt obligations are considered. A boundary is not spare money to recover. Do not increase it because of a loss, a promotion, a near miss or a feeling that a result is due. Keep a simple private record so the total is visible across sessions.
Never borrow money, use emergency funds, delay rent or bills, or hide spending from a partner or family member. Those are stop signals, not reasons to continue until a future result changes the position.

Chasing losses
Chasing occurs when someone continues or raises spending to recover an earlier loss. Previous results do not create a debt that the next round must repay. The pressure to “get back to even” can make limits feel temporary and turn a short session into a much larger financial decision.
When that thought appears, stop the session, move away from the device and tell a trusted person what happened. A cooling-off period is more protective than changing strategy within the same session.
Sleep, work and relationship effects
Money is only one measure of harm. Repeated late nights, distraction at work, missed study, arguments, secrecy and withdrawing from other activities can show that gaming is taking more attention than intended. Keep these effects in the self-check even when spending appears controlled.
Self-check questions
These questions are not a diagnosis. A “yes” is a reason to pause and consider independent support, especially when several answers describe the same period.
Pausing and blocking access
Distance can be practical: remove saved payment details, uninstall unneeded software, turn off promotional notifications, use device or network blocking tools and ask a trusted person to help manage access. Do not use technical workarounds to defeat a restriction or return during a cooling-off period.
This site does not explain VPNs, mirrors or methods for bypassing a regional or account restriction. A barrier should be treated as a reason to stop and reassess.
Seeking independent support
Choose support that is independent of a sales or retention process. A qualified mental-health professional can help with loss of control, anxiety or depression. A financial counsellor may help when debt or essential expenses are affected. A trusted family member can assist with practical boundaries. Verify any external service before sharing personal information.
Urgent situation: If there is immediate danger, a risk of self-harm or a financial crisis affecting basic safety, contact local emergency services or an appropriately qualified professional without waiting for a website response.
